Learn to Cook where you gather & entertain
Colorado Springs is a city, not a resort. Pikes Peak runs the skyline, Garden of the Gods is twenty minutes from most front doors, and the people who live here are a mix the mountain towns don't have — military families stationed at the academies and the bases, longtime locals in older neighborhoods, kids who grew up on Manitou and came back to raise their own. The Broadmoor is here, but most of the houses we cook in are real homes, lived in.
Classes are usually built around something that matters — a milestone birthday, an anniversary, a homecoming for someone who's been deployed, a holiday gathering when the whole family's finally in town. Hands-on, unfussy, the kind of evening a real kitchen was made for. Altitude technique built in for the Springs' 6,000 feet, and nobody on cleanup at the end.
Three Ways to Cook With Us
Every class is built around your skill level, your kitchen or venue, and the cuisine you want to learn. Choose the format that fits. Each one is led personally by a MileHighCook chef, not a coordinator.
Private In-Home Class
One-on-one or a small household in your own Broadmoor, Skyway or Old North End kitchen. Choose the cuisine, set the pace, and learn techniques you will use every week. Couples, families and gifts. Date night classes are the most requested format here.
1-8 GuestsGroup Class
A hands-on night for friends, family or a celebration. Everyone cooks, everyone learns, and the night ends at one table with the meal you made together. Popular for USAFA graduation weekends, birthdays and neighbors finally over for something that is not takeout.
10-20 GuestsCorporate Team-Building
Cook-offs or shared menus for 15 to 100. Built for aerospace and defense teams, Space Symposium week and offsites that should not feel like a conference room. We handle setup, instruction and the meal at the end.

A Custom Curriculum,
Built Around What You Want to Learn
There's no fixed syllabus. Every class starts with a short conversation about what the group wants out of it — an anniversary dinner you make together, a birthday menu the whole family can help with, finally learning a cuisine you keep meaning to try, or a competitive cook-off for a corporate offsite. We build the curriculum around that, and around the kitchen we'll be cooking in.
Because Chef Steve is CIA-trained and has cooked across 30+ markets, classes go beyond recipes into real technique — the why behind the method, so what you learn carries into every meal you cook afterward. Altitude adjustments for the Springs' 6,000 feet are built in.

Three Principles, Every Class
While most cooking classes are fixed-menu, demo-style sessions in a rented studio, every MileHighCook class is built around three principles.
One Company.
One Standard.
Chef Steve designs every curriculum. He sets the standard each instructor is trained to. One company answers for your class.
Custom Curriculum
Every class designed around your skill level, your guests, and the cuisine you want to learn. No fixed syllabus. No one-size-fits-all menu. Yours, not ours.
