A private chef cooks live for a small group, typically in your kitchen, with the focus on the cooking itself as part of the experience. Catering scales that up — multiple courses, service staff, larger guest counts, and the operational flow that comes with hosting at scale. One number on the proposal covers chef and culinary team, all ingredients and shopping, prep, cooking, plating, professional service staff (servers, bartenders, attendants), equipment and rentals, and complete post-event cleanup. No hidden fees, no surcharges at the end. For multi-day retreats and corporate hosting, breakfast through dinner across the program is bundled into a single per-day, per-guest figure.
Yes — weddings, corporate retreats, brand activations, milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners, holiday gatherings, family reunions, and ranch and estate hosting are all in our regular calendar. Wedding catering is its own dedicated lane with venue coordination and rehearsal-dinner programs — see our wedding pages for that workflow. Corporate retreats often run multi-day with bundled breakfast through dinner pricing.
Catering scales cleanly from about 20 guests up through 200+. Below 20, the private chef format usually fits better — same chef-led quality, lower service overhead. Above 200, we still cater regularly but the lead time stretches and we'll often partner with the venue's house team for the largest events. For everything in between, we self-staff the full service.
Wedding and milestone catering should land 6-12 months out, with the marquee summer Saturdays in Vail, Aspen, Park City, and Jackson Hole often gone 9-12 months ahead. Corporate retreats and festival-week brand hosting (Aspen Food & Wine Classic, Sundance, ArtCrush) book 6-9 months out. Weeknight private parties outside peak season are routinely available 4-8 weeks ahead.
We bring everything — service staff (servers, bartenders, attendants), equipment, rentals, glassware, and tabletop where needed. The all-inclusive proposal scopes the staffing ratio to your guest count and service style (plated, family-style, stations, buffet). You don't coordinate vendors. For venue events, we coordinate with the venue's banquet team on logistics; for at-home and ranch hosting, we run the full operation ourselves.
Yes — confidentiality clauses and NDAs are standard for high-discretion work. Hedge fund and private-equity offsites, family-office events, entertainment-industry hosting, and political fundraisers all routinely involve discretion requirements.
