Deer Valley built its identity on a service ceiling: capped lift tickets, skiers only, ski-valet at the base of every run, on-mountain dining treated as destination work in its own right. Guests who choose it picked the standard on purpose. They want a ski week where everything has already been thought through — and a hands-on cooking class fits naturally inside that, because we work the same way the rest of the trip does. You don't lift a thing that isn't a knife.
We teach in the kitchens that come with the residences here — serious equipment, refined finishes, alpine views — and the class is calibrated to match. Menus are dialed in, technique is taught properly, mountain-cooking adjustments for the altitude are built in, and the night runs at a pace that lets the conversation lead. Setup, instruction, and cleanup are ours.
