Three Formats That Build Teams

Pick the format that matches the team and the room. A CIA-trained chef leads every one. No coordinator, no fixed public class.

01

Cook-Off Challenge

Teams of four to six get the same pantry and 60 minutes. Judged on taste, plating and teamwork. Loud, fast and the best format for sales teams, new hires and Front Range tech offsites.

10-100 Guests
02

Collaborative Menu

The whole group builds one dinner, station by station. Knife work, sauces, proteins, dessert. Everyone sits down to the meal together. Best for leadership teams and offsites.

10-40 Guests
03

Lunch and Learn Skills

A 90-minute session at the office. One technique, one dish, back at desks by 1:30. Runs monthly for teams that want a standing ritual.

What Your Team Cooks

A Menu Built Around
Your Team, Not a Syllabus

Every event starts with a call about the team. Who is on it, what the day is for, allergies, alcohol yes or no. We build the menu and the format from that.

Chef Steve trained at the Culinary Institute of America and has cooked across 30 markets. The class teaches real technique, so the skills go home with people.

Recent rooms: a RiNo startup loft, a Cherry Creek law firm break room, a Denver Tech Center conference floor, a Pearl Street office in Boulder and a Golden brewery taproom. If the space has power and a door, it works.

How It Works

From Inquiry to Aprons On

Built around a planning call with the organizer, not a public class roster.

01

Inquire

Send the form or call with team size, dates and where you want to host.

Studios sell fixed time slots.

02

Planning Call

Fifteen minutes on goals, dietary needs, budget and the room.

Most venues send a set menu and a deposit link.

03

Event Plan

Within 24 hours: format, menu, timeline and what the room needs.

Generic classes repeat the same menu every week.

04

Chef Arrives

Ingredients, tools, aprons and staff arrive at your office or venue.

Studio classes mean travel, parking and a rented room.

05

Cook and Eat

Teams cook, plate and sit down to the meal together.

Demo classes mean watching, not cooking.

The MileHighCook Difference

Three Principles, Every Class

Most team building cooking classes are fixed-menu sessions in a rented studio. Every MileHighCook event is built on three principles.

One Chef. One Owner.
One Standard.

Chef Steve plans and runs every event personally. The person on the planning call is the one in the room.

Built for the Team

Format, menu and pace set by who is on the team and what the day is for. No one-size roster.

Hands-On, In Your Space

Your office kitchen, your offsite venue or a rented kitchen we arrange. Your team cooks. We handle the rest.

Denver Team Building FAQ

What organizers ask before booking a corporate cooking class in Denver.

Yes. A break room with counter space works for a knife skills session. For a full cook-off we bring induction burners, tables and tools, or we arrange a rented kitchen nearby.
Ten to 100. Above 40 we split into teams with stations and add chefs. Groups over 100 work as a cook-off in a venue with a kitchen.
Cook-offs and collaborative menus run two and a half to three hours including the meal. The lunch and learn format is 90 minutes.
Priced per person by format and group size. Send the form and a quote comes back within 24 hours with dates. Ingredients, tools, chef time and cleanup are included.
No. Induction burners, prep tables and a portable wash station travel with us. A conference room or an event lawn works. A real kitchen makes a bigger menu possible.
Yes. We collect restrictions on the planning call and build the menu so every station has a version everyone can eat. Kosher-style and gluten-free both handled.
Your call. A wine pairing or a cocktail station can be added, or the event runs dry. We work within your venue's alcohol rules.
Downtown, LoDo, RiNo, the Denver Tech Center, Boulder, Golden and the whole Front Range. Offsites in Breckenridge, Vail and Estes Park are common.
Three to four weeks for a standard event. Holiday party season fills from mid October, so December dates need six weeks.
Those book you into a fixed class in someone else's kitchen. We come to your space, a CIA-trained chef runs it, and the menu is built for your team.
