Boulder Corporate Hosting
where every dietary expectation is sophisticated

Boulder's corporate calendar runs through four distinct ecosystems. Naturally Boulder anchors the natural products industry. Boulder-headquartered founders host satellite events around Expo West and partner dinners through the year. CU Boulder graduation weekend in early May is the single highest-spend private-dining window. Multi-family hosting of 20-50 guests is the norm.

JILA, NIST, NCAR, and NOAA drive a year-round circuit of academic and federal-science conference hosting. JILA physics conferences carry Nobel-laureate affiliations.

MileHighCook caters across Mapleton Hill, Pine Brook Hills, and the Pine Tree Lane corridor. Venue hosting at Chautauqua Dining Hall, the St. Julien Hotel, and the Hotel Boulderado. Naturally Boulder partner dinners. CU graduation weekend hosting. Boulder Startup Week sponsor events. Aerospace company annual meetings (Ball Aerospace, Sierra Nevada Corporation). Every Menu, Custom-Built From Scratch

These are starting points, not packages. Most caterers and private chefs lock you into a small set of pre-built menus. We don't. Every MileHighCook menu is designed around your guests, your venue, your season, and your story. The dishes below are inspirations — what we might build for you.

Wagyu New York
Mountain Steakhouse, Elevated

Wagyu New York

Dry-aged Wagyu, charred allium purée, smoked bone marrow jus, root-vegetable hash. Could be reimagined with Cure Organic Farm vegetables or 14-day dry-aged Colorado ribeye.

Hokkaido Scallop Crudo
Coastal · Light · Bay-Area-Influenced

Hokkaido Scallop Crudo

Day-flown scallop, yuzu-kosho, finger lime, shiso oil. As one example of what's possible with sushi-grade fish flown in for a private dinner.

Black Truffle Risotto
Italian · Indulgent · Seasonal

Black Truffle Risotto

Carnaroli rice, aged Parmigiano, fresh black truffle shaved tableside (when in season). One direction for an Italian-inspired evening.

Whole-Roasted Cauliflower
Plant-Forward · Vibrant · Seasonal

Whole-Roasted Cauliflower

Heirloom cauliflower, brown butter dukkah, herbed labneh, charred lemon. A vegan-capable centerpiece that holds its own at any table.

Crispy Duck Breast
French Technique · Dramatic Plating

Crispy Duck Breast

Crispy-skin duck, cherry gastrique, parsnip purée, pickled mustard seed. As a starting point for a plated multi-course winter dinner.

Caviar Service
Cocktail Hour · Show-Stopping

Caviar Service

Royal Ossetra, traditional accoutrements, blini, crème fraîche. One of countless ways we can elevate a cocktail hour or welcome reception.

CU graduation weekend in early-mid May is the earliest-booking window in our Boulder calendar — Mapleton Hill and Pine Brook Hills hosting fills 9-12 months ahead, often more for the marquee Saturday slots. Naturally Boulder member-firm dinners around Expo West (early March) book 4-6 months ahead. JILA, NIST, NCAR, and NOAA conferences typically lock 3-6 months out. Tech-corridor partner offsites and CU Engineering / Leeds Advisory Board events are most flexible at 2-4 months. Holiday corporate hosting in December should land 4-6 months ahead.
Yes — and this is a Boulder-specific specialty. Boulder's natural products industry has trained an entire generation of clients to expect sophisticated nutrition. Gluten-free, dairy-free, regenerative, and organic at corporate scale (100+ guests) are core capability, not surcharges. We source from Boulder County producers clients ask about by name — Cure Organic Farm, Ollin Farms, Aspen Moon Farm, Black Cat Farm — and design parallel menus that don't single out any group.
Our All-Inclusive proposal covers chef and culinary team, all ingredients and shopping, prep, cooking, plating, professional service staff (servers, bartenders, attendants), equipment and rental needs, and complete post-event cleanup. For multi-day conferences and retreats, breakfast through dinner pricing is bundled into a single per-day per-guest figure. No hidden fees or surcharges.
Yes — CU graduation weekend is one of our highest-volume Boulder windows. Multi-family graduation dinners of 20-50 guests at Mapleton Hill, Pine Brook Hills, and Newlands estates are the dominant format. We coordinate timing around graduation ceremony schedules, manage guest dietary collection across multi-family groups, and execute parallel menus when family contingents have different preferences. Booking 9-12 months out is the norm. We also handle smaller graduation-week dinners at Chautauqua Dining Hall, the St. Julien, and the Boulderado.
Yes. Multi-day federal-science and academic conferences are a regular category — JILA physics conferences, NCAR climate-science meetings, NIST/NOAA visiting-researcher hosting, and Conference on World Affairs speaker dinners. We handle breakfast service, working lunch, hosted reception, and donor dinner across 2-5 days. Menus rotate so motifs don't repeat, and dietary requirements collected during questionnaire phase are honored across every meal.
Yes — Boulder is one of the strongest farm-to-table ecosystems in the country, and Boulder clients ask about specific producers by name. We source from Cure Organic Farm, Ollin Farms, Aspen Moon Farm, Black Cat Farm, and the Boulder County Farmers Market network. We can build a menu around regenerative-only or biodynamic-only sourcing on request, and we can provide a producer list for any event. For corporate clients with sustainability reporting needs, we'll document the supply chain.
Yes. Naturally Boulder member-firm hosting is a steady part of our corporate calendar — partner dinners, satellite hosting around Expo West (Anaheim), and recurring annual industry events. We coordinate with brand teams on activation logistics, dietary collection across cross-company groups, and any product-integration requirements. For natural-products firms hosting their own clients, sourcing transparency is often part of the brand story — we supply documentation when needed.
Yes. We cater corporate retreats at the St. Julien, Hotel Boulderado, Pine Brook Hills estates, and private homes in Newlands and Wonderland Hills. Tech-corridor clients — Google Boulder, post-Twitter engineering teams, the Bay Area transplant cohort — typically request tasting-menu format with wine pairing, plant-forward options at parity with omnivore menus, and sushi-grade fish capability. Multi-day partner retreats with breakfast-through-dinner programming are routine.
We serve Mapleton Hill, Pine Brook Hills, Newlands, Wonderland Hills, Devils Thumb, North Boulder, University Hill, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Heatherwood, and Eldorado Springs — plus the broader Boulder County area including the foothills mountainside estates with Flatirons views. Travel surcharges are never added separately — all distance is built into the All-Inclusive proposal.
Reschedules are handled case-by-case. Generally: 90+ days out, full deposit transfers with no penalty. 30-90 days, partial transfer with re-stocking adjustment. Headcount adjustments are far more common — for corporate events we typically allow +/- 10% headcount up to 7 days before the event. CU graduation weekend reschedules are tighter given peak demand, similar to festival-week constraints in our resort markets.
