Vail Corporate Hosting
without the resort F&B feel

Vail's corporate calendar runs on a different rhythm than its wedding calendar. New York and Texas-based private equity firms run annual partner retreats at slopeside residences during shoulder seasons (early June, mid-September, mid-November). Brand sponsors host VIP dinners during Bravo! Vail and the GoPro Mountain Games. Tech and finance offsites cluster around Spring Back to Vail closing week and the early-December Snow Daze opener.

MileHighCook caters corporate events across Bachelor Gulch, Forest Road, Cordillera, and Vail Village, plus venue hosting at The Sonnenalp, The Arrabelle, Manor Vail Lodge, and Donovan Pavilion. The pitch is straightforward: a CIA-trained chef-led team, every menu custom-built, no resort F&B impersonality. Discretion is built in. Request a custom corporate proposal →

Every Menu, Custom-Built From Scratch

These are starting points, not packages. Most caterers and private chefs lock you into a small set of pre-built menus. We don't. Every MileHighCook menu is designed around your guests, your venue, your season, and your story. The dishes below are inspirations — what we might build for you.

How It Works

From Inquiry to Unforgettable Event

A premium, white-glove process from your first message to the final tasting. Built around real conversations — not marketplaces or generic templates.

01

Inquire

Submit the form above or call us directly.

Marketplaces send your inquiry to 5 vendors at once.

02

Conversation

A 15-minute call with Chef Steve to understand your event, venue, guests, and vision.

Resort F&B teams typically work through a sales coordinator.

03

Proposal

Within 24 hours: fully detailed, All-Inclusive proposal. Custom-built around your event.

Most catering proposals take 5-10 days to assemble.

04

Lock In

Once approved: structured questionnaire, contract, and (if requested) tasting scheduled.

High-volume operators often skip the questionnaire entirely.

05

Deposit & Schedule

A deposit secures your date. Walkthrough, final menu refinement, and service planning.

Concierge services often add a 20-25% markup.

The MileHighCook Difference

Three Principles, Every Event

While most marketplaces, resort F&B teams, and volume operators rely on coordinators or generic templates, every MileHighCook event is built around three principles.

One Chef. One Owner.
One Standard.

Chef Steve oversees every event personally. Not a coordinator, not a sub-contractor. The person who plans your event is the person responsible for it.

Custom From Scratch

Every menu designed around your guests, venue, season, and event style. No package menus. No locked pricing tiers. Yours, not ours.

All-Inclusive, 24-Hour

Full proposal within 24 hours of your call. One number, no add-ons. Chef fee, ingredients, service, equipment, and cleanup — all included.

Festival-week corporate hosting (Bravo! Vail, Mountain Games, Vail Dance Festival) typically books 4-6 months ahead. Shoulder-season partner retreats (early June, mid-September, mid-November) are most flexible at 3-4 months out. Holiday-week corporate events should land 6-9 months ahead. The earlier you start the conversation, the more menu and team flexibility you have.
Yes — confidentiality clauses and NDAs are standard for our corporate work. PE offsites, family office events, and brand activations all routinely involve discretion requirements. Tell us your standards and we'll execute accordingly.
Our All-Inclusive proposal covers chef and culinary team, all ingredients and shopping, prep, cooking, plating, professional service staff (servers, bartenders, attendants), equipment and rental needs, and complete post-event cleanup. For multi-day retreats, breakfast through dinner pricing is bundled into a single per-day per-guest figure. No hidden fees or surcharges.
Yes — this is the bulk of our Vail corporate work. Partner retreats and PE offsites typically run at large slopeside residences in Bachelor Gulch and Forest Road. We bring full mobile kitchen setup as needed; many of these homes have professional-grade kitchens. Cordillera estate properties are a regular venue as well.
Yes. Multi-day retreats are a core demand category — breakfast service, lunch (often working lunch), and dinner across 2-5 days. We coordinate menu progression so meals don't repeat motifs, and we time service around your meeting schedule.
Yes. Festival-week brand activations are a regular category for us — sponsor dinners, VIP hosting, cocktail receptions tied to performances and events. We coordinate timing, dietary requirements, and sponsor logistics directly with your activation team or planner.
Yes. Gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, kosher-style, and complex layered restrictions (e.g., gluten + dairy + nightshade-free) are standard across corporate groups. We collect dietary requirements during the questionnaire phase and design parallel menus that don't single anyone out.
Vail Village is at 8,150 ft, which materially changes how proteins cook, how baked goods rise, and timing on multi-course service. Our chef team is trained on altitude-adjusted technique. For multi-day retreats this matters across breakfast bake items as much as evening proteins.
We serve Vail Village, Lionshead, Cascade Village, East Vail, Bachelor Gulch, Forest Road, Cordillera, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Avon, Eagle, Gypsum, and the broader Eagle County area. Travel surcharges are never added separately — all distance is built into the All-Inclusive proposal.
Reschedules are handled case-by-case. Generally: 90+ days out, full deposit transfers with no penalty. 30-90 days, partial transfer with re-stocking adjustment. Headcount adjustments are far more common — for corporate events we typically allow +/- 10% headcount up to 7 days before the event.
