Paradise Valley Catering
for the Southwest's highest-concentration UHNW zip code

Paradise Valley is a tiny ~14,000-resident municipality sandwiched between Phoenix and Scottsdale — with virtually no commercial development by design and one of the highest per-capita household income concentrations in the United States. Demographically distinct from Scottsdale: more established wealth, older skew, longer-tenure ownership. Heavy concentration of energy and oil-and-gas executives, real estate magnates, retired CEOs, professional sports ownership (the Phoenix Suns, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks all have meaningful PV-resident ownership/executive presence), and California transplants. Snowbird percentage is lower here than Scottsdale — many PV residents are full-year, with strong at-home entertaining culture during the cooler months.

MileHighCook caters across Mummy Mountain (the most prestigious address in the Phoenix metro), the Camelback corridor, Casa Blanca, Clearwater Hills, Cheney Estates, Tatum Canyon, and the Mockingbird Lane area. Most PV estates have substantial outdoor kitchens, ramadas, and pool-deck dining setups exceeding indoor capacity — outdoor entertaining at scale is the Paradise Valley aesthetic. PV's strict municipal ordinances mean event permits and noise considerations are tighter than Scottsdale; we handle approvals as part of the All-Inclusive proposal. Many estates have on-property staff (housekeepers, pool attendants, landscapers) requiring coordination. Request a custom proposal →

Restaurant-Level Catering,
Estate-Tier Discretion

MileHighCook's Paradise Valley catering covers every detail — from custom menu design and Phoenix-metro specialty sourcing (McClendon's, Crow's Dairy, Pinnacle Peak Patio supply chain) to full kitchen execution at Mummy Mountain professional-grade kitchens or outdoor-kitchen-and-ramada setups, professional service staff coordinated with on-property staff, equipment rentals when needed, and complete post-event cleanup. The dominant PV dinner-party cuisine is Mediterranean and coastal Italian, bicoastal seafood, and grilled outdoor-cooking-focused menus during the cooler months — with sophisticated wine-pairing focus reflecting PV's deep wine-collector culture.

Whether you're hosting a 60-guest Phoenix Open week corporate hospitality dinner at a Mummy Mountain estate, a 100-guest snowbird welcome reception in November, a 30-guest Barrett-Jackson week collector hosting at Casa Blanca, or a 150-guest charity board dinner with Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation, our All-Inclusive approach means one transparent quote with no hidden add-ons. We work in private estates, the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain (resort and residences), El Chorro, the Hermosa Inn, Royal Palms, and Mountain Shadows.

Sample Inspirations

Every Menu, Custom-Built From Scratch

These are starting points, not packages. Most caterers and private chefs lock you into a small set of pre-built menus. We don't. Every MileHighCook menu is designed around your guests, your venue, your season, and your story. The dishes below are inspirations — what we might build for you.

Wagyu New York
Mountain Steakhouse, Elevated

Wagyu New York

Dry-aged Wagyu, charred allium purée, smoked bone marrow jus, root-vegetable hash. Could be reimagined with seasonal Colorado lamb or 14-day dry-aged ribeye.

Hokkaido Scallop Crudo
Coastal · Light · Refined

Hokkaido Scallop Crudo

Day-flown scallop, yuzu-kosho, finger lime, shiso oil. As one example of what's possible with sushi-grade fish flown in for a private dinner.

Black Truffle Risotto
Italian · Indulgent · Seasonal

Black Truffle Risotto

Carnaroli rice, aged Parmigiano, fresh black truffle shaved tableside (when in season). One direction for an Italian-inspired evening.

Whole-Roasted Cauliflower
Plant-Forward · Vibrant · Seasonal

Whole-Roasted Cauliflower

Heirloom cauliflower, brown butter dukkah, herbed labneh, charred lemon. A vegan-capable centerpiece that holds its own at any table.

Crispy Duck Breast
French Technique · Dramatic Plating

Crispy Duck Breast

Crispy-skin duck, cherry gastrique, parsnip purée, pickled mustard seed. As a starting point for a plated multi-course winter dinner.

Caviar Service
Cocktail Hour · Show-Stopping

Caviar Service

Royal Ossetra, traditional accoutrements, blini, crème fraîche. One of countless ways we can elevate a cocktail hour or welcome reception.

The MileHighCook Difference

Paradise Valley Catering, Built Around You

While most marketplaces, resort F&B teams, and volume operators rely on coordinators or printed banquet sheets, every MileHighCook event is built around three principles.

One Chef,
Not a Coordinator

Chef Steve plans and runs every event personally. No sales coordinator. No sub-contractor. The person you talk to on day one is the person on-site the night of.

Your Menu,
Not Their Banquet Sheet

Every menu built from scratch around your guests, your venue, your season. No package tiers. No printed banquet kit. No “pick three from column A.” Yours, not ours.

One Number,
Up Front

Full all-inclusive proposal within 24 hours. Chef, ingredients, service staff, equipment, cleanup — one number, no add-ons after the fact.

Phoenix Open week (early February), Barrett-Jackson (mid-late January), and Cactus League Spring Training are the highest-demand corporate hosting windows and should book 4-9 months ahead. Holiday entertaining season (mid-November through New Year) is the peak in-home entertaining window and books 3-6 months ahead. Snowbird welcome (November) and farewell (April-May) bookend events typically book 3-4 months out. Charity gala season runs winter through spring. Summer (May-September) is dramatically quieter; events that do happen book on shorter horizons.
Yes — Mummy Mountain estates are core PV venues for our work. The Camelback corridor on the south side of PV, Casa Blanca, Clearwater Hills, Cheney Estates, and Tatum Canyon are all regular venues. Most estates have professional-grade indoor kitchens plus substantial outdoor kitchen, ramada, and pool-deck infrastructure that exceeds indoor capacity for events. PV's strict municipal ordinances on event permits and noise are tighter than Scottsdale; we handle approvals and timing as part of the All-Inclusive proposal.
Our All-Inclusive proposal covers chef and culinary team, all ingredients and Phoenix-metro specialty sourcing (McClendon's, Crow's Dairy, regional Arizona produce), prep, cooking, plating, professional table service (servers, bartenders, attendants) coordinated with on-property staff, equipment and rental needs, PV event-permit coordination where required, travel across Maricopa County, and complete post-event cleanup. No hidden fees or surcharges.
Yes — major-event week hosting is a defining PV catering category. Phoenix Open week (early February), Barrett-Jackson (January), Cactus League Spring Training (February-March), and Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show all drive substantial PV estate hosting beyond the official tournament hospitality scenes. We coordinate timing, security and access requirements, and corporate logistics with your hospitality team or event planner. Many PV estate owners host the same returning corporate guests annually — we treat that continuity accordingly.
Yes — confidentiality clauses and NDAs are standard for Paradise Valley work. Energy and oil-and-gas executive hosting, real estate magnate entertaining, professional sports ownership-class hosting (Suns, Cardinals, Diamondbacks ownership), and high-discretion family-office events all routinely involve discretion requirements. Tell us your standards and we'll execute accordingly.
Yes. Gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, Mediterranean and anti-inflammatory (the dominant PV dietary pattern), longevity-focused (Mayo Clinic and Banner-aligned), low-sodium for the older cohort, GLP-1-aware (PV concentration is among the highest in the Southwest), and complex layered restrictions are all standard. We confirm every dietary requirement during the questionnaire phase and design parallel menus when needed.
Most PV estates have on-property staff — housekeepers, pool attendants, landscapers, sometimes private chefs or estate managers. Coordination with that team is part of our process. We work alongside (not around) the household team, handle event-day staffing without overlapping their domain, and respect the operating rhythms of the household. Many PV residents prefer this integration model over caterers who treat the property as a venue rental.
PV outdoor entertaining is the cultural default October through April. Most estates have substantial outdoor kitchens, ramadas, and pool-deck dining setups that exceed indoor capacity. We design service for these outdoor settings: hot-and-cold service buffer for cooler evenings, ice service intervals when warmer evenings creep in, lighting and ambiance coordination with on-property landscaping. Summer outdoor events (May-September) require substantial cooling infrastructure (misters, shaded structures) and we either design indoor-leaning menus or build cooling into the proposal.
We serve Mummy Mountain, Casa Blanca, Clearwater Hills, Cheney Estates, the Camelback corridor (south side), Tatum Canyon, the Mockingbird Lane area, and the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain residences. For events spanning PV and Phoenix or Scottsdale, we coordinate cross-market logistics. Travel across Maricopa County is built into the All-Inclusive proposal — you won't see distance surcharges added separately.
Reschedules are handled case-by-case. Generally: 90+ days out, full deposit transfers to the new date with no penalty. 30-90 days, partial transfer with re-stocking adjustment. Less than 30 days, depends on date availability and ingredient lead time. Major-event week reschedules (Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson) are particularly tight given the demand window.
